Yucheng Wang

Yucheng is an Economics Ph.D. candidate at the University of Pittsburgh. His research interests include environmental economics, urban economics, and transportation economics. He aims to contribute new insights into understanding individuals’ private valuation of the environment and climate change, as well as how it influences public responses to environmental regulatory policies and sustainable governance. One of his research themes focuses on governing emissions from the transportation sector, encompassing reformulated gasoline regulations, public transportation investment, and Electric Vehicle (EV) subsidies and incentives. Another line of his research aims to incorporate behavioral economics perspectives into the field of environmental governance and understand the voluntary provision of green public goods. Yucheng earned both an MA and a BA in Economics from Renmin University of China.
