Luna Kwak

Luna Kwak is an Assistant Director of the Center for Governance and Markets at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA). In her role, she leads the center's operations, supervises all research program management, and manages the center's budgets. Furthermore, Luna works closely with GSPIA and other departments to ensure streamlined financial and HR processes within the center.

Before joining the CGM team, Luna gained valuable experience as a public administrator for both the National Assembly of South Korea and the Northeast Asia History Foundation, a government-affiliated institute under the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology. Through these roles, Luna acquired insights into the challenges faced by communities and governments worldwide.

Luna is also an accomplished author, with several books published by Random House Korea in South Korea, China, and Taiwan. She has a passion for writing and enjoys sharing her experiences with others. Luna holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy and Management (MPPM) from the University of Pittsburgh. She is enthusiastic about continuing to make a positive impact through her work in public administration, research, and writing.
