Meena Sadr

Meena Sadr is a LL.M. candidate specializing in International Human Rights Law at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Law. Her primary area of research interest is International Human Rights law, rule of law, and legal pluralism. She holds a BA LLB from the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF) and a BA in Philosophy and Sociology from Kabul University. Meena has experience working in social, educational, and legal programs with non-profit organizations including the American Councils for International Education (AC) in Afghanistan and Albania, Save the Children in Albania, and Jewish Family and Community Services (JFSC) in Pittsburgh, US. She appeared at the “Conversations with Iris” Podcast to speak about her work and the Ethics and Politics of Working with Local Researchers in Afghanistan on November 7, 2022.
